Our School, Necip Münire Önemli İlköğretim Okulu, is a small public school in a village of Aksaray. The village is 12 km away from the Aksaray city centre.There are 141 pupils aged 5 to 14 in preschool, primary and secondary education in our school. There are 11 teachers. Both teachers and pupils spend good time in our school in a safe and welfare environment.

Pupils have a good chance both for socializing and for improving their social and academic skills. It is easy for them to prepare themselves for a good high school education even in a village with limited facilities.

Our city Aksaray is in the middle of Turkey, near the Cappadocia Region, which is not only a very popular tourist attraction but also a natural wonder. Like our country, our city is also the land of many ancient civilizations and cultures like the Roman Empire, the Seljuks and the Ottoman Empire. There are many historical monuments from different civilizations in our city. So it has a unique cultural and historical heritage. The Ihlara Valley is in Aksaray. As well as its natural beauty, it is the location of many cave churches from 9th and 10th centuries.
