Green Park is a happy, friendly school for boys and girls aged from 3 to 11 years. Each year we have around 200 full time pupils aged 4 to 11 years, plus 60 children in our Nursery. The school was built in 1973.

The school is in Maghull, which is a lovely location near the canal and fields. In our grounds we have our own vegetable garden, play areas and a large playing field. We have areas for quiet play and equipment for the more adventurous and younger children.

Our children learn through many subjects, and we have exciting clubs teaching sports such as judo, fencing and basketball, and we have other clubs such as eco awareness, gardening and Spanish. Spanish is taught throughout the school. We teach life saving skills and the children go to swimming lessons every year from the age of 6. We have specialist music teachers to enhance learning in this subject.

We have a fantastic permanent ICT suite and also 30 laptops for individual work, and in each classroom we have a large interactive whiteboard to assist participation in learning.

Green Park School has a warm, welcoming environment where all staff are friendly and approachable. We have lots of help and support from parents and other community members to enhance children’s learning.

We aim to make our children’s time at Green Park unforgettable, as we recognise these first years are the most important years of their life.
