METHODS OBJECTIVES OF THE PARTNERSHIP

BULGARIA

15th school "Adam Mitzkevich" is located in an industrial district of the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia. It was found in 1950. Since 1975 it is named after the great polish poet Adam Mitzkevich. In the school there are 408 students aged from 6 to 18 years.

We, the teachers from the 15th school, set a good example for innovative teaching methods as we try to improve the quality of education, preserve the culture and bring different social groups together. We have completed with excellence 2 other EU projects so far related to traditions and culture. Our students love to sport, draw, dance folklore dances and modern ballet.

The city of Sofia – our hometown – it’s the capital of Bulgaria, one of the oldest towns in Europe. It has met many names throughout the history – Serdika, Sredets. It’s near the Vitosha mountain and it is the most developed city in Bulgaria. The motto of the city is "It Grows but Does not Age".
